Product Vendors
Goods sold at a typical Christkindlmarkt are usually high-quality crafts items, Christmas ornaments and gifts. Products such as bees wax candles, wooden smokers and nutcrackers, quality children's toys, pottery, music boxes, holiday decorations and unique gifts will find willing and happy buyers.
Food Vendors
Food is a major draw for a Christkindlmarket, as shoppers and hungry visitors succumb to the aroma of savory German food and drink. Besides roasted Bratwurst and Currywurst, potato pancakes, baked potatoes and hot crepes, there will be gingerbread, Lebkuchen, roasted almonds and many other goodies on the menu. To warm up the visitors from the cold, hot cider, cocoa, coffee and, of course Gluehwein (mulled wine) will not be missing.
Program
Visitors to the Olympia Christkindlmarkt will be entertained by a variety of local and visiting performers. The program will be studded with music and pageantry, sure to delight young and old.
